A non-sponsored DHC congress
For years DHC offered sponsorship packages for companies who were interested in beiing represented during the congress. As of this year, the DHC organization aims for a non-sponsored congress. Therefore, there will be no available sponsorship opportunities.
The DHC organization values its independancy in organizing the congress and compossing the program. Also, the wide variety of participants (both healthcare professionals and professionals who are not allowed to prescribe medication) is considered of great value. This variety of participants stimulates multidisciplinairy cooperations, but limits the sponsorship opportunities due to the CGR code of conduct regarding selfregulation of pharmaceutical advertising. Hence the decision for a non-sponsored congress. Inevitably, this decision leads to an increase of the registration fee. HOVON and the NVvH are willing to provide financial support to the major focus group of the congress, beiing professionals working in hospitals and academic research organizations such as: hematologists, oncologists or other MD's, ANIOS, AIOS, (specialized) nurses, researchers, PhD students, trial consultants, data managers.
We understand that the DHC congress may - for educational purposes - still be valuable for others, defined as the minor focus group; beiing: employees of pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic companies, companies that provide (lab) equipement, (medical) publishers. The DHC organizations welcomes this group to attend the congress as a regular participant. The DHC organization did however set up a framework of guidelines:
- participants of the minor focus group may attend the DHC congress with a maximum of 2 persons per company per day, and
- participants of this minor focus group are requested to gain some appropriate modesty with regards to their contact with other participants.
Registration for 17 DHC 2025 can be completed at the registration page on this website.
